The M«ori race has responded nobly to'the Empire's nail, but more men are needed, and spenkinc; as lnme Minister of the Dominion, and as head of the Government, I earnestly npneal to. the chiefs of the Maori people to g O . utmost to keep -up the supply, of reinforcements which are so necessary at'this juncture. .
