Supply Depot Establishment: Pto. W. Weatherall, to be lancecorporal. Foatherston Promotions. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Pto. C. J. Lowry, Headquarters Staff,. Camp Commandant's Office, to be corporal; Pic. A. C. Jones, Headquarters -Staff, Canm Commandant'? Office, to be noral; Pto. J. E. Slattery, Pto. C. M.' Turner, and Pte. E. Quick, A Companv, 12tb, to be lance-corporals; Pte. A. Morrison, A Squadron, 13tb, to be temporary records seraeant: Pto. R. Hansen, B Squadron, 13th, to be temporary records sergeant: Pte. A. F. V. Brown, C Squadron, 13th. to be. temporary ve-. cords sergeant; Pte. P. H. Matthews, D Squadron, 13th, to be temporary reoords sergeant: Pto. A. S. Trevithick, B Company, 12th, to bo temporary records sorgeant; Pte. C. Cockroft, "D Company, 12th, to be temporary records sergeant. Commissions Obtained. Angus, Field Engineers, 11th 'Reinforcements, transferred to 14th Reinforcements ; Corpl. ■K. T. Jcnssen, Field Engineers, llfch Reinforcements,transferred to 15tlr Reinforcements. Returned Soldiers In Gamp. .The following returned soldiers have reported at Treutham for duty, and have been transferred to the undermentioned units:—Dvr. W. Frew, N.Z.F.A., M.8., toN.Z.F.A;, 11th; Pte. J. Poljjock, C Coy., sth, to C Coy.. 11th; Dvr. |'L. A. Noble, N.Z.E., M.8., to N.Z.E., lltli; Pto R. M'Dowell, C Coy., 3rd, to C Coy., 11th: Bgr D. H. Moore, C.1.8., M.8.,- to C Coy., 11th. v How to Know Them. The following are the colours allotted to the different units of the 11th Reinforcements :— Artillory—Red and Blue. Engineers—Yellow and black. A Company—lied. B Company—Green. C Company—Brown. D Company—Blue. E Company—Red and green. F Company—Red and black. & Company—Khaki and yellow. H Company.—Khaki and blue. War Tax and Soldiers' Malls, Trentham Camp orders state:—"Letters and other articles posted, by soldiers are exempt from payment of the Jd. war tax. In order, however, to onsure exemption it will be necessary for each article to he endorsed on the left hand top cdrnor with the name and official address of tho soldier, who is the sender. If the letters'aro not so endorsed they will be liable to surcharge. Only letters posted at military camp post offices are liable to tho exemption. Letters posted at all other offices must bear the Jd. war tax."
