» : \ SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for strong easterly . changing to northerly winds. Expect warm and humid conditions, with increasing cloud arid haziness—rain following- on the northern and West Coast districts. Barometer falling everywhere. Bull and cloudy weather has ruled in the northern anil southernmost districts, and showers have fallen on- the East Coast of Ihc North Island. Moderate to strong easterly winds have prevailed,* and a south-easterly gale is reported at East Uape this evening. Atmospheric pressure lias decreased everywhere'. D. O.
