Glover,; president of the Wntersiders' Federation, went south on Friday, evening, and put the new clause .before the members of the different unions, at Lyttelton,;: Timaru, and Oamaru on Saturday.. The meeting .of waterside workers of . Lyttelton decided to turn down the clause providing -that the union place ■ no obstacle in the'way of overtime work ceasing at 10 p.m. ; The men, decided to remove the 8 p.m. embargo, and work as formerly |to 10 p.m., or later if necessary. It is".expected that proV vision will be mads in. the new agree--1 ment for Lyttelton.
