There is probably no scenic resort in the world that is so well known and advertised as the beautiful and romantic Wonganui River, and the popularity of this fine trip appears to be constantly on the increase. In a recent number of the London "Punch" there is a fine cartoon of a well-known celebrity placing hii hand on" the shoulder of a New Zealand soldier, with tho remark, "Do you know wlw I am?" and the reply was.
