The offiocr in charge (Major JMclier), in acknowledging the gift, stated that it had been highly appreciated - and. mtu'i enjeyed by officers, n.c.o. s, and mgn. Similar gifts, which axe only typical of the treatment our invalided men receive on all'hands, hnv« been made by the same firm to all New Zealanders passing through Cape Town.
