The "We6kly Dispatch" credits Colonel House with the following statewent:—"The Gorman Government, the army, anil tho navy are absolutely confident of victory, but the Gorman people are dissatisfied, uncomfortable; and weary. TBo General Staff supplies the ar.riiy with every requirement, having first call on all supplies leaking through the blockade. Meanwhile the colonisation and cultivation of Poland and Asia Minor proceeds apace, and the Turkish cotton fields are being developed. Germany beliuveß that tho forthcoming harvest will be sufficient to enable lier to carry on."
