A £1000 CAR FOR 5/-
A Sizaire Berwick motoMar, valued at £1000, .has been donated to the Danuevirke Patriotic Society by Messrs. Bower and Eric Knight, and the socioty has decided to dispose of the car by art union, to be drawn 011 March 31. The car is a 20-horse-power five-:' seater, 1915 model, complete with hood, screen, electric. light, and self-starter. Tlie drawing is to take plsce under tlie supervision of Messrs. G. Hunter, M.P., Mr. E. A. Ransom, Mayor of Danuevirke, and Mr. F. W. Cowper, chairman, of the Dannevirke County' Council. The art. union is in the interests of the Southern Hawke's Bay Wounded Soldiers' and Dependents' Fund l , and tickets can be obtained fiom the secretary .of the Dannevirke Patriotic Society Art Union, Box 80, Dannevirke. The price of the tickets is ss. each.
