BANKS'S COLLEGE
o Banks's College for Boys resumed wort on Tuesday witji a very considerable increase of pupils. The. number of boys on the roll is now well over 70. There are two preparatory departments, one for boys of five to seven years of age. taught by Miss P. 51. Dixon, the other for boys of seven to twelve or fourteen years, taught by Mr. J. W. Russell and Mr. S. I. Jones, certificated teachers. In the secondary department bora are prepared by Mr. AV. T. Foster, M.A. (N.Z.), B.Litt (Oxon.), Mr. H. H. Cornish, M.A., LL.B., Mr. T. S. Atkinson, "B" certificate, and Mr. E. L. Enting, A.1.A., N.Z., for all public examinations. Particularly strong matriculation and entrance Public Service classes have been formed, and are already at work. Parents who think of enrolling their boys arc urged to do so at ouce, in order to give both pupils and teachers as favourable a chance as possible. Full provision is also made for physical culture, swimming, and games, all being taught by expert instructors.
