FRENCH TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM
STATE ADVANCE TO SHIPOWNERS By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrlgln Paris, January 14. In order to meet the transportation crisis, the Government is introducing a Bill authorising an advance of four millions sterling to shipowners, to enable them to increase their fleets by purchasing Allied or neutral vessels.
