! FROM NEW ZEALAND i , . The following message was dispatched by His Ifecellency t/he Governor, so that it should reach His Imperial Majesty the Tsar on January 14, being New Year's Day in llussia: — _"I respectfully desire to tender to Your Imperial Majesty on belialf of myself, the Government, and the people of the Dominion of New Zealand, an expression of our great appreciation of the steadfast and united efforts of Your Imperial Majesty's Government and of tile dauntless spirit which lias been, and is being, displayed by the heroic Russian armies against the common enemy,, a spirit which has gained the admiration of us all."
