TRIP TO BOTTOM OF SEA
An extraordinary sea adventure is related by Mr. William Brewster, R.N.U., in a letter to the master of the Dunmow "Workhouse. Mr. Brewster was an orphan, and was brought up in the workhouse. He says lie was on the brings of J: is trawler off Dover, one dark night, vlien liis vessel was cut in two by a Dutch ship. Mr. Brewster wore an inflated bolt, but ho became jammed on tho broken bridge, and was carried to the bottom with the wreck. The shock of the hull bumping 011 the bottom of tVio sea released Mr. Brewster, and lie rose to tho surface. He was picked up aftai* swimming about in the darkness for an. hour.
