SAILORS FRIEND SOCIETY

A well attended meeting was held at the Sailors' Friend Society last night, when a programme of music was arranged by Miss Chapman and party. At the close of an enjoyable evening a hearty vote of thanks to the performers was moved by the • Missioner (Mr. Moore), and responded to by Miss Chapman. The following contributed items: Mrs. Strong, Misses Fontaine and Chapman, Messrs. Nelson, Strong, Jones (Athenic), Cutlej- (Rualunc), and Ray (Pakeha). At the close of the concert eight inen signed the pledge.
