The Board of Trade returns show that during December the imports increased by £5,621,496, exports by £7,668,691, and re-ex-ports by £1,831,355, compared with tho figures for December. 1914.
Harvesting operations ■ are now well advanced throughout tills district. Hie raius of the last week, or two' havo ]iad a good effect upon the rape crops in the Masterton district. Some of them had been showing signs of wilting.
