THE NARROWS BOMBARDED Bj Teleeranh—Press Association—Copyright (llec. January 9, 5.5 p.m.) Amsterdam, January 8. A Turkish communique says:—Our aeroplane shot down two French and English aeroplanes. Our aerial squadron successfully bombed tho positions at Secld ul Bahr and the aerodrome at Imbros. The enemy's cruisers have continuously bombarded the Anatolian coast at the Narrows. A BRITISH SUBMARINE. IN CONSTANTINOPLE HARBOUR, (Rec. January 9, 5.5 p.m.) Athens, January 8. 'A' British submarine from the Sea of Marmora, entered the Golden Horn, and attacked and considerably damaged the arsenals. The workmen and inhabitants were panic-stricken.
