The mine manager of the Hauraki Beefs reports:—During the past week fltoping : over the back of . No. 3 level has been in hand, and 51b. of picked 6tone was obtained from good general dirt. The No. 3 level . face was driven through a slightly disturbed area. The reef is now defined again, and a little picked stone came- to hand. Gold continues to lie seen in the reef driven on in the No. 2 level face. The crosscut to cut the Wynyardton reef is out 33ft. in good country. ' MUBRAY CBERK COMPANY. i The mine manager of the Murray Creek 1 Gold Murine Comuany advises by teleginm that the No. 3 level has been extended since the beginning of the month a further 29ft., makine a total distance driven on the reef of 203 ft. The width of tho reef in the face is sft.
