WELLINGTON CENTRE'S TOURNAMENT. ' Trentham Oamp is being given the status of a bowling club, in that the Wellington Bowling Centre is inviting rinks of players in camp to enter for the New Year Tournament. There are a number of good bowlers now wearing khaki instead of white flannel, as was shown on the Wellington Club's green on Saturday last, and all those concerned in the tournament would like to see His Majesty's uniform figuring on the sward during the approaching tournament, entries for which close to-day (not on Monday next as 'has been j stated). The following rinks will represent Hataitai agninst Hutt at tho Hutt to-day: Anstoy, Whitohouse, Galvin, Mitchell (s.); D. Claridge, Light, Johnson, Laurenson (s.). Against Newtown on Saturday:—At homo: M'Kenzio, M'Gregor, Piikington, Lanrenson (s.); Huggins, Edwards, Johnson, M'Whannell (s.). Away: Hulso, Buckmaster, Galvin, Clark (s.); M'Lean, Rose, Gyles, M'Kittrick (s.). Mrs. Tattle, residing at 43 Frederick Street, died suddenly last evening. The body was removed to the morgue. !
