MISS BEERE-S DANCE RECITAL
• THo danco recital whicli was organised by Miss Estelle Beere and given in the Wrand Opera HOU6O in aid of the wounded m' the hospitals in Cairo, earlier in the week, was' repeated last evening tor the'same cause. There was again a large and very appreciative; audience,' and no doubt the fund will benefit 'to a very satisfactory extent. Somewhat contrary to her custom (at least in her recent recitals), Miss Beere aave in this, preference to ballet instead of to sojo dancing, arid as a result some very pretty grouped effects were given, while the colour arrangement was arS"? 1 ,L out ' 1136 Pallet entitled The Children's Dream of Fairyland ' gave scope for both, as well as tor somo pretty individual dancing on the part of the little ones, while the dresses which wero worn were particularly elective. Little Marjorie Wiggs ?■? . a green butterfly was a charmm* little dancer, and among the others were children who have , taken a prominent part in Miss Beero's recitals. Another ballet was the "Danso des Sylphes " which, was danced by, older performers,- * and was as regards dancing guitVthe best item upon the programme/ The recital was one of the most interesting that Miss Beere has given The music for the dancing was played by Mr. Williams's orchestra, and limelight was used throughout the donees with much effect. ' Mrs. F. M. B. Fisher again organised a sale of sweets tor the cause.
