Oliver was ordered to pay the Wellington Musicians' Union the isaim of £2, oil or before December 16, or to undergo three da-yfe' imprisonment. •J. Mathews was ordered to pay P. W. Davidson the sum of £7 165.," on or before Deeember 30. A. E. J. Ross was ordered to pay M. A. Clapham the sum of £1,55., on or before, December 16, or to undergo two days' imprisonment. A RESERVED JUDGMENT. Reserved judgment was delivered in a case (heard recently by Mr. AY. G; Riddell, S.M.) in. wliich David Williams, was.. plaintiff and Max Colm defendant. Plaintiff, wlio'is a carrier, claimed tlie sum of £60 15s. 6d. from Colm, as damages in respect of a collision between plaintiff's express and a motor-car, owned by defendant and driven by' one 1 of defendant's servants. The collision took place in Jorvois Quay on September 20 last, and the plaintiff's horse and express were both damaged. A nonsuit point, raised on defendant's behalf; was not sustained, and' judgment was given for plaintiff (Williams) for 1 the sum of £37 10s., with' costs totalling £6 7s. Mr. H. J\ O'Leary appeared for plaintiff, while Mr. O. N. Beere appeared for the defendant.

SEQUEL TO A COLLISION. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the sum- of £4 75.,. .with costs £2 Bs., in the defended case of Ernest Allen ;Hunt, salesman, of Wellington, v. Henry Godfrey, storekeeper, of -Meiii - Street, a claim for £10 as: 'damages alleged to have been sustained in a collision between a bicycle ridden by plaintiff and a motor-cycle ridden' by defendant. The collision took place on September 22 last, and was, tlie plaintiff alleged, caused by negligence on tlie part of the defendant. Mr. D. M. Findlay appeared for plaintiff, while Mr. H. ft. O'Leary appeared for defendant. POLICE OASES. Patrick Ryavi, alias Banks, was arrested .on Thursday while begging alms in Courtenay Place, and yesterday he was sentenced by_ the Magistrate to three months' imprisonment with hard labour. Two men in uniform, Frederick Augustus Armitage and Sydney Robert Cross_, pleaded not guilty to the theft of a- military overcoat valued at £1 7s. 6d., tho property of the New Zealand Government. ■' Tlie evidence, / however, was against them, and bottrnvere convicted. Armitage, as the principal offender, was sent to gaol for .two months, while Cross was sentenced to a month's imprisonment. The following persons, who were convicted of drunkenness, had been onco previously convicted in tlio past six months, and fines of 10s. were imposcfl in every case: —John Gouzier, Georgo Traill, and Edward Robinson. Threo first offenders were also dealt with. - JUVENILE COURT. Four boys appeared in the Juvenile Court yesterday morning, before Mr. D: G. A- Cooper, S.M. One, aged 13 years, was deemed to be not under proper control, and was committed to the.Weieroa Training Farm. A boy, 12 yeal's of age, had to answer for "several'charges of theft at Petolie. He aho was committed to the Wereroa Training Farm. An older lad 0o years) was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. The' fourth defendant was admonished and discharged for interfering with the tramway system in R-in-toul Street.
