The position of the.City at the end [ of last week was that it had 894 men on its books. Three hundred and eleven of these are under oi:ders to parade this morning to be sent into camp. At that rato, it will tako just over two years to work off the present supply. Or, the last five of these recruits will get t'heir chance to go ifefco camp so soon as December, 1917. ' Taking our total rrnmber of current registrations, and deducting the numbers which aro to «nter camp to-day, the position in which we set out to secure onr December quota was at the end of last week Pit men.
