Dalgety and Co. report:—G<xxl linos of sheepskin's wore keenly competed) for at an advance of Jd. on last sale, rates. Only bags and oddments of wool were offered and sold at satisfactory prices. Hides and tallow .were firm, on a par with laet sale. It has been decided to hold a eale on December 17, and to canocl tho sales set down for December-10 a.nd 24.

Messrs. Levin and Co. report that the only wool cjlered was a few odd fadges, the wool being held for tho opening sale of tho season on November 17. The sheepskins market was strong and higher at nn advance of a halfpenny all round. Hidoß were firm and unchanged, and tallow was firm.

Tho New Zealand Loan and Mer<»ntile Agency Company, Ltd.. report keen competition, a.nd full-woolled sound skins sold at from 113 d. for crossbred to 12Jd. for halfbreds. Sides also wero in good demand at lete rates. Bound lotß were -wanted. Bags and odd packages of wool wero' well competed for, and eold at advanced prices. ' MeSsrs. Abraham and. Williams, Ltd., report that competition was vory keen, and prices for skills advanced a halfpenny to three farthings per lb., whilst hides were on a, par with last rale's rates.

Messrs. Murray,' Roberts and Co. offered a catalogue of 4000 sheepskins, 350 hides and calfskins, and experienced tho keenest competition for sheepskins, prices showing an advance of sd. per lb. on last sale in many lines. Hides wore firm at last sales' rates.. Tallow sold at 10s. to 15s. per toil advance.

Messrs. W. and G. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., report spirited bidding for all clashes offered. Combing skins showed an advance of 3d. to Id. per lb., shorts selling at Tates on a- par with late rates. There \ras only bae lots of wool offered. Sates wore also held by the United Farmers' Co-operative- Association and tho Wairarapa Banners' Co-operative Association.
