MOBILISATION NEXT WEEK

CITY QUOTA ASSURED

Next week tho men- for tho Tenth Reinforcements mil bo mobilised at Trcntham Camp. Tho Wellington City quota will go in on Tuesday/ Tho Group Commander (Major Corrigan) stated yesterday that he considered that the City would contribute its full quota; he had practically no doubt on the point. There are more lit men on the City hooks than aro required for tho Tenth, but many have requested to be set back until January. The presumption is that these men wish to havo Christmas at home 'On that account tho City quota was reduced by thirty infantry. It is now considered, however, that the fidl quota will be easily obtained.

The latest list of fit men who have returned their papers to Bucklo Street is:—
