LONDON WOOL SALES. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright (Roc. November 1, 0.5 a.m.) London, October 31. Wool sales—Slow competition for shabby Merinos; withdrawals continue. Good Merinos very firm at'late rates. Of a catalogue of 32,564 bales, 26,777 were sold. Tlie following prices were realised for fleece portions of the New Zealand clips named (top and average prices respectively): —"Gear," 20d., 17Jd.; "Kagutone," 26} d., 26} d.
