ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
DEATH BY HANGING. About 6 o'clock yesterday morning, a young married woman, named Ada Caroline Dormer, 25 years of age, wife of Charles Francis Dormer, was found hanging afc.lier residence at 49.Hanover Street, Wadestown. Life was extinct wlien the discovery was made, and the body was removed to the lnorguo. An inquest will be held. DROWNED WHILE BATHING. Br Telograph.—Tress Association. Thames, October 27. A man named Frederick Thomas was. drowned at the S'hortland Wharf yesterday afternoon. Ho was bathing in tho Kanacnga ltiver and was missed after somo time. A search was made and his body ' recovered. All efforts failed to restore animation. At un inquests verdict of accidentally drowned was returned. FOUND DEAD ON A ROAD. Dannovirke, October 27. Glenville Barclay, about 60 years of age, was found dead on Miller's lioad last night under circumstances suggesting that ho had been "knocked down by a vehicle of some description. Death was due to fracture cf the base of the skllll. Deceased was formerly Maori interpreter in tho House of Representatives.
