SCHEME TO WRECK WAR FACTORIES
TWO ARRESTS IN AMERICA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. October 26, 1.15 a.m.) New York, October 25. In _ the arrest of Robert Fay, a lieutenant in the German army, and Walter Scholz, his brother-in-law, tho Federal Secret Service believes that it has detained the leaders of a plot to wreck the American munition factories and ships carryirg munitions. Fay is said to have confessed to have a plan for stopping tho sliipmont of .munitions. It is said he was supplied with two thousand dollars for carrying out tlie operations. Papers which were found on him show that he was a German Secret Service agent. Vast quantities of explosivos and survoy maps of Now lork harbour wore found in his toome.
