Prince and Princess Louis of Battenburg visited and chatted to wounded New Zealaudere at Walton Hospital.' 1 The Hon. Thos. Mackenzie, the Earl of Ranfurly, and Major Louis Myers were present. The convalescent New Zealand soldiers are generally satisfied with their, treatment in hospital. Many complain, however, of the poor quality of the uniforms supplied on discharge, as being unsuitable if they have to spend tho winter in the'trenches. The War Contingent Association is supplying the men with warm underclothing.
