•• BOYS' - INSTITUTE OLD BOYS' CLUB.. The annual meeting of the Boys' Institute Old Boys' Cricket Club was held on Wednesday evening in the Institute, Arthur Street. Mr. F. Boss presided. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Air. R. B. Wood; president, Mr. G. A. Troup; vice-presidents) Messrs. L. M. Watkins, J. Lamb, C. K. Dick, D. R. Howitot, D. M'Kenzie, F. C. Atkinson, and Dr. M'Laurin; club captain, Mr. F. Ross; hon. secretary, Mr. J. D. Howitt (re-elected) ; r . Hon. treasurer, Mr. A. A. Matin (re-elected); management committee, Messrs. E. Guise, G. Renner, and H. Lambert. A deputation, consisting of Messrs. L. M. Watkins, D. R. Howitt, and E. Guise, was formed to. wait on the Wellington Cricket Association to again apply for entrance as a senior team. Owing to the sodden condition of the ground, the Ground Committee liavo aeoided there will not be any practice on the Basin Reserve this afternoon.
