Mr. G. C. Paterson, of the Postal Department, Wellington, has just - received news of tho death of his youngest brother, aged 18 years, who was killed in action in Flanders. Advico was received from tho Minister of Defence on Wednesday by Mr. C. Leeming, of the Christ-church Telegraph Department, that his oldest son, Captain C. V. Leeming, of the 3rd Battery of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forco, Maiii Body, had disembarked at Malta on September 1, sick. Captain Leeming was ono of the first to enlist when the call earner .
