' The second annual report of the Land Agents' and Auctioneers' Association of Wellington, for the year ended Augu6t 31 last, to be presented at tho.; annual meeting of- members, states that notwithstanding the depression caused by the war, the finances and prospects of the association are sound and toryThe finances aro iiii a sound condition, the accumulated fund being -now £4S 2s. 6d. The expenditure exceeded that of last year by £11 odd. This, however, is more than accounted for by the payment of £0 5s to the Hospital Base Fund, the writing off of £5 ss.' due by members 6truck' off the roll, and a liability of £14 ss. to the Dominion Association, being the first annual subscription and levy. The excess of incomo over expenditure was £13 lis. 5d., which has been carried to the accumulated fund. At the close of the year 40 town and 17 country, members, with two branch officers, were on the roll. This is somewhat jess than last year, three members having been written off, arid several others retiring through the depression caused by the war.
