ANNUAL MEETING OF BRANCH. Tlio annual meeting of the "Wellington Branch of tho New Zealand Association of His Majesty's Veterans was lield in the Buckle Street Drill Hall on Monday night. The report and balanccslieet, which wore considered very satisfactory, were adopted. . During the year four .-members, including FieldMarshal Earl Roberts, Y.C., died. The following officers wero elected: —Vicepresident, Lieutenant T. Humphries; secretary and treasurer, Mr. S. Stidolph; auditor, Mr. T. Bland; delegates, Mr. R. Tingcy and Sorgeant-Major W. Christie; committee, Sergt-Major" W. Christie, 'Messrs. R. Tingey, AY. Buck, R. Alexander, J. Finn, G. B. Purdie, and F. W. Revell.
The chairman (Lieutenant T. Humphries) was instructed to inform tho annual conference of New Zealand delegates next mouth that the Wellington branch agreed to members joining the National Reserve. Tile secretary's appeal for tho reforming of the association was agreed to.
