He explained that the patents , did not really belong to the enemy, but, unfortunately, they were oil tho register in tho enemy firm's name,' and the directors were faced with the position that 'they might lose the uso : of , thei patents. He had received expert advice that the only way to protect the. patents and the shareholders was to register a formal license, proving their ownership.
