TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND SENT •. TO DATE. In the,course of his remarks on Saturday, evening at the Orphans' Club, tbe Prime Minister (Rt. Hon; W. F. Massey) said that lie thought everyone should he satisfied with the part that Now Zealand ivas playing in the war. Up to the present the Dominion had dispatched 23,000- fully equipped and, with few ' exceptions, adequately-trained .troops. Within the next month another SOOO would he sent forward, making, 28,000-■ -Add to that the fact that there would not be the slightest difficulty in putting another 7000 men into camp by the end of the year, ho thought that the position was Tery sound. In his opinion thero were not any signs of the war ending for at least another year. ■
