"A CHRISTCHURCH STATEMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association J ~ Ghristchurch,, September 15. At a meeting of the General Comtaittee- of the Poor: of Great Britain, Ireland, and Belgium Belief Fuud, ; Incorporated, this afternoon, the balancesheet of the fund as on June 30 was submitted, and showed that the amount collected totalled £99,591 10s. Id., the balance after deducting expenses being £97,989 Bs. 6d., which was dealt- witb as followsßemittance' • (Britain), £14,920: remittance (Belgium), £76,155 is. 7d.; Red Cross Fund, £1500; Mankets and material, £1144 9&. 5d.; cash-jn-h'aiid, -12s. 9d. ] halan.Ce at Bank of New Zealand, £4265 Is. 9d. Total, £97,989 Bs. 6d.
