HUTT VALLEY FLOWER SHOW
•The committee, of the Hutt .Valley Horticultural Society met on Thursday nigjht to make final arrangements for the Spring Show. (advertised elsewhere in tins issue). The various sub-com-mittecs reported that matters wcro well in hand, and very generous support had been promised from-all directions. Tho services of the Hutt Orchestra liad been secured free of charge, and the provisions for the refreshment room and Bweets stall were all donated. Having received such liberal support the eommitteo hopes to be able to hand over n. substantial sum to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund, to which worthy object tlie proceeds are this year to bo donated. Mr. T. Waugh promised to donnte a number of pot plants, to bo sold at the flower sale stall.
