NORWAY'S STRONG PROTEST By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright Copenhagen, August 13. Norway has sent a strong protest to Germany against the violation of neutrality by tlio torpedoing of the British auxiliary cruiser India in Vestfjord (between the 1 Lofoten Island and "tho coast of Norway). THE LAST HONOURS. Christiania, August 13. A further twelve of the India's crew have been buried at Booge. Norwegian sailors and soldiers rendered the last honours: Flags were at half-must throughout the town. Commander Kennedy remained on the . bridgo and was rescued from the water. Many of. tho crew were in their. berths at the time, and rusiied up on deck halfnaked. They suffered from tho intensely cold water. Two lifebelts were launched in wliicli were eighty men. STEAMERS AND TRAWLERS SUNK. London, August 13. The Grimshy trawler Thrush lias been sunk. The crew were in the boats from Monday to Thursday, and were terribly exhausted. Tho steamer Summerficld, 687 tons, has been sunk. The chief engineer and tho chief officer and his wife were drowned. The steamer Jacona, 2969 tons, and tho Norwegian steamer Aura, 396 tons, have been sunk. DANISH BARQUE SUNK. (Rec. August 15, 3.5 p.m.) Copenhagen, August 14, Tho Danish barque Morna, 1496 tons,' has been sunk. The crew landed. CLASCOW STEAMER LOST. (Rcc. August 15, 3.50 p.m.) London, August 14. The Glasgow stoamer Cairo, 1671 tons, and a fishing smack, ■ the Amethyst, bave been sunk. The crews were saved.
