SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications aro lor moderate to strong oastcrly to northerly winds and 1 cool and changeable weather generally. Conditions arc still somewhat threatening to tho westward, arid cloudy and unsettled weather is likely at times in the western and'southernmost districts or tho South Island, and also in tho northern portion of the North Island. Tho barometer is unsteady, but lias a ' falling tendency. A redistribution of atmospheric prcsuro has taken, place since last evening, anticyclonic conditions prevailing to-day, with fair weather generally.
