"WEEKLY MEETING; Tho weekly meeting of the Rugby Union was held last evening. Matters iii connection with Saturday's fixtures were discussed, - and-it- was-arranged that; the -Petono fixture against a 'I'rentham representative team be played on No. 1 Athletic Park, the Cup fixture, Poneke v. Athletic, being played on No. 2 ground. The programme for:the remainder of the season was arranged as follows:—August 14: Auckland, at Auckland, and Wairarapa, at Wellington. August 21: Wellington College v. St. Patrick's College, and the usual set of cup games'. - August 28: Auckland v. .Wellington,; at Wellington. September 4: Petono v. Athletic, at Petoiie. September 11: Canterbury v. Wellington, at Wellington, and Wellington v. Wairarapa, .at Carterton. September 18: Taranaki v. Wellington, at Wellington. September 25: Wellington v. Canterbury, at Cliristcliurch. Mr. A. E. Wilson- was appointed manager of the team to Auckland, and.it was decided, that tho team leave by tlio | Auckland express on Thursday night. •
