FIRE IN A FACTORY
BOOT PREMISES DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) jnvercargill, August 4. The premises of Kingsland and Co., boot importers and' manufacturers, were completely destroyed by fire at 6 o'clock this morning. The insurances are:— Oii the building, £1600; stock and plant, £3350 in the State' office. The factory had been very busy and between 50 and 60 hands have been thrown idle. The loss is estimated at £3500 above, the insurance. The. adjoining premises of Boys (draper) and Arthur (jeweller) were slightly damaged.
