THE MILITARY HOSPITALS
DAILY-BULLETIN. The following information, lias beat received concerning sickness in the various military hospitals . during the twenty-four hours preceding noon on Wednesday, August ■!:— Pftlmerston North.—No serious cases. On August 3 the total number of. cases was 59, comprising appendicitis 1, •measles 36, and medical 22. Waikanao.—Admissions, 8; discharges, 13. Totals arc: Convalescent, 26; measles, 11; minor surgical, 5; observation, 3;. influenza, 3; tonsilitis, 1. Kaiwarra.— Discharges, 16; remaining, 3. . ' li'eathorston.—No serious cases. Measles, IS; minor surgicals, 4; sore throats, 1: bronchial asthma, 1; neurasthenia, 1; lymphangitis, 1; varicoso vein, 1; scarlet fever, 1; scarlet fever contacts, 6. Wellington—Of the serious cases, ono very ill, three slightly improved. Admissions, 1; discharges, 3. No new serious oases. Trentham. —Of the serious eases, one losing ground, ono is worse than yesterday, three not quite so well, two sho\v slight improvement, one condition unchanged. All the rest improving. Im--provement continues among men in camp regarding throat and general condition. Cases under observation hopeful. The total number of eases of all Kinds of sickness in the military hospitals on Wednesday was 351, as against 484 on Wednesday of last week.
