CHORAL CLUB CONCERT
The concert given by the Wellington Amateur Choral Club at the Concort Chamber last evening deserved more liberal patronage than was accorded it. Madame Mueller had brought together some excellent and extremely vailed talent .well worth hearing, lllie club's choir, under tho baton of Madame Mueller, sang the part songs "Strike the Lyre" (Cooke), "How Dear to Me the Hour" (Needliam), and "To the Death" (Wheeler), in good style. As usual, Master Winston Churchill, scored in "Roam, in' in tho Gloamin'" and "Here We arc Again," and was encored vociferously Miss Marjory Wiggs danced a fantastic waltz, and hvo mites, 'Molly Modder and Belle Pearson, executed a.lively 6ailor's hornpipe. Madame Anderson «an» with intelligence that difficult song "The Enchantress" (Hatton) and "The Three Fishers" (Hullah), to which she had to append, encore numbers. "The Girl Patriot" was recited with spirit by Miss Janie - Petrie, Master O'Brien played a violin solo, Mr. C. E. Culvenvell 6ang "Nirvana," Mr. L. C. Travel's "Gallant Little Belgium," and Miss Violet Mueller "The Waking of Spring" (Del Mrs. Alfred Hill was th'a accompanist. The concert ■ was given in aid of ■ the Wounded Soldiers' Fund.
