Hellsop, Eliotb, and Co., local agents) report as follows on tho frozen meat market,'.under date London, June IB:— Home-grown: Despite the falling off in supplies the demand has been slow, due to the very high rates, and also probably tho warm weather. < Kates have eased, about id. to 3d., but these reductions cannot be-considered permanent. Movements aro on' foot to restrict the slaughter of lambs and calves in order to preservo stocks. Frozen: The released Government moat contains more lambs than sheep, as many of.these are being consumed by the forces. Of beef, practically none is released.
