Miss Celia Ghiloni, late of the "Cinderella" Company, left for Sydney by the Moeraki on'.Saturday evening, to take up other work with a Williamson Company. Messrs: Miller and Rutter advertise some Wellington City freehold and farm property unencumbered, in exchange for hotel (freehold) and farm. At a public meeting at Grey town on Friday another Great Britain and Allies' Fund' Committee was elected- as under':— Messrs. Loasby, Morison, J. F. Thompson. F. J. White, S. Feast, L. Thompson, Wallis,'Armstrong, Day, B. Burch, Webster, and Rev. Mr. Compton.
