Imperial Protectionists are confident that a death-blow will bo dealt to Freetrade. A leading Italian roview, "The Nuova! Antologia," suggests an economic league between the Allies, citing Pitt's proposals in tho House of Commons in. 1/83. Tho journal, expresses the opinion that the Allies could constitute tho most formidable commercial phalanx, in tha world, and make neutral States think twico before sacrificing their future prospects for the sake of transient gains,
