Tho Wliangarei Hospital and Charitable Board this afternoon decided, on tlio casting vote of tho cliaii'man, Mr. N. M'Konzic, to purchase tlio Kamo Sirring Hotel and grounds for £GOOO. Tlio purchase includes tlio famous Kamo Springs and 44 acres of land with tennis and croquet lawns. Tlio beard intends to grow sufficient vegetables, and have its own supply of milk and eggs to meet hospital requirements now costing £500 a year. It is probablo that the advantages of the springs and the hotel as a sanatorium for wounded soldiers will be put forward.
