SALE OF DAIRY STOCK.
A reminder, is given of the sale to 1)6 held on Monday next by Abraham and Williams, Ltd. ( for Mr. P. 01. Milden. The whole herd of 57 head aro in excellent condition. Some idea of tlio individual capabilities of tho cows can bo gleaned when it is mentioned that- they averaged Xl 5 per head for butter-fat last season. Mr. Milden has systematically culled every 'year, niid tlio result, it is stated,'is that the herd ,is minus any cow or heifer that it would not pay'to keep. A 20luonfchs purebred Jersey bull will be offered for sale. This animal is in tho Herd Book, and is sold subject to a transfer, being given by Mr. Milden. Tho milking plant, comprising an "L.IC.G." machine and Taiigyo kerosine on»ine in good order, will be subject to a slight reserve, but tho auctioneers want it understood that tliero is absolutely no reserve on tho stock. Mf. Milden has decided to give up dairying and go in solely for sheep. The farm is on the Kairahga-Bunnythorpe IRoad, near the school, and about 5 miles from Palmcrston North. Arrangements can bo niado wifchi the auctioneers to take buyors out to tho sale if they will call at the cfiieo in Knngitikoi Street after, tho arrival of .the morning trains from north and eoath. • .
