MAGISTRATE'S COURT
At a short sitting of'the Magistrate's Court, presided.'over by Mr.'s. G. 'A, Cooper, S.M., 011 Sattirday n-.orning, Peter Mulcahy, an old offender, was sentenced .to one month's imprisonment 011 a'charge of drunkenness. William M'Laughliu, who, as lie was being arrested for drunkenness, snatch'cd at and tore the pocket of a bystander, was ordered to make good the damage done (assessed at Is-). Ho was convicted and discharged for drunkenness.
