Mayoress. (Mr. and Mrs, J. P. Luke)' went; aboard with some ; final gifts. Later.'His Excellency; the . Governor made a, final inspection."' Tsie'-Maheno left the wharf : ono' o'clock and went out and dropped anchor off Kaiwarra, wher.e she remained 'for' tlie rest,of the; day. -Her departure from tho wharf was witnessed ■by only a. small mimber of the, public, but towards two o'clock a, largo crowd. .Went down. to the King's Wharf, .only t<) be . disappointed. . They ihad to'be content with seeing the Hospital' Ship lying, in the harbour. : .
The. finally sailed at 12.15 p.m. yesterday. . .
