Private Clarenc® M'Leod, : who has .been awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal, is a son of Mr. and Mrs.. Robert M'Leod, of Tuapeka. Mouth, Otago'. He is only 19 years of age. He tried to get away with the Main Body; but did not succeed. He was, ■however* subsequently | accepted; and left with tho First Reinforcements..
Mr. W. F. Tibbutt, the photographer, who has been laid aside witlil a serious ' affliction for some months, is slowly recovering, and there is a hope that lie' will in time regain his normal health'. , Yesterday lie/was .wheeled down to tho King's Wharf to inspect the Hospital Ship.
