'ATHIjETIC V. PETONE,:. . The two leading toarns. Athletic and Petone, meet at the Park this • afternoon, and an interesting contest is expected. Athletic hold the premier position this season with an unbroken record,; while Petone has suffered one loss, i.e.; the first match'of the season; being- taken somewhat-unawares by a strong-Trentham team. To-day they wjll he at full strength, and as a win will place them .on-level terms- with Athletic, a' great effort may, be expected., Patrons, are asked to note that the game is set down to start at 2.45, and those desirous of securing a-good position to view the match should make a point of being early. There will be tho usual matches 'to interest early arrivals. The Trentham v. University match, set down for Athletic Park, No. - 2, will not'be'played. !
