M&ssrs. W". and G. Turnbull and Co!, Ltd., report having 'held their weekly sale in their Waipoua (Jlasterton) eaie yards on Wednesday. A good yarding of sheep and cattle came forward, far above advertised numbers, and met with keen competition throughout the sale, and practically. a clearance wias \ made at the following rates:—Sheep: Four and five*y«br ewes, in lamb, 175., 17s. ,7d. to 18s. 6d.; fat ewes, 19s. to 225. 9d..; fat and forward lambs, 16s. 2d. to 16s.
